Great Lakes, less than three hours from Sydney and only four hours from Armidale, is where the magnificent eastern dividing range forms a backdrop to one of the most dazzling stretches of coast you will ever see. Secluded bays and exciting surf beaches, stunning coastal scenery and fertile productive hinterland combine to make the Great Lakes the perfect escape.

From the Tamworth and Armidale regions explore Thunderbolt’s Way through the Great Lakes hinterland passing the historic township of Stroud.
